Connection Crew

  
ACEC Oregon’s Connection Crew is designed for networking and professional growth and made-up of rising leaders from our Member firms. We host budget friendly events that are of interest to the next generation of Engineers, Land Surveyors, and the fields that support them, blending career building, community building and fun.

Each planned event will incorporate networking time, so our rising professionals can build their networks, share ideas, and grow together, and some may also include an instructional component.

Our plan is to secure firm sponsorships to keep registration costs low so everyone can attend. We also hope to include complimentary appetizers at our events with drinks available for purchase.

In the future, we may partner with other organizations such as (but not limited to): ASCE, APWA, PLSO, SAME, Engineers Without Borders and more!

Our current events are centered in the Greater Portland area, where the majority of our member firms operate. However, we are actively looking to expand our footprint! Keep an eye out as we scale the Connection Crew into Salem, Bend, Vancouver, and beyond.

There currently are seven Connection Crew members who have stepped-up to lead the Crew. They are (in no particular order):

Our first event was held on June 4, 2026 at Birdie Time Pub. Those that attended said:
